The ancient synagogue of Arbel National Park – the second largest in all of Israel (c. 26 m long) – includes at least two architectural stages, the first Roman and the second Byzantine. This site was first researched in 1875
In 1905 the building was excavated by a German delegation who dated it to the 3-4th centuries AD
Moshav Arbel, near Tiberias.

Drive towards Poria Junction. Turn at the Kfar Hitim junction west of Road 7717,
After the studio bridge. After 3 km turn right to Moshav Arbel.
