Rabbi Sama ben Raba was a well-known Amora, a seventh-generation Amora of Babylon.
Was a disciple of Rabbi Ashi.  After the death of Rabbi Rahumi, he was appointed head of the Pombedita Yeshiva

Arrival instructions
From Road 89, enter Safed in the direction of Ziv Hospital, c. 100 m before the entrance road to the hospital, turn right in the direction of Kfar Akbara, after about 3 km turn left on a dirt road and descend into the village, reach a branch through dirt and slightly left on a mountain road. , Bypass the mountain and descend to the stream on the other side of the mountain, where a small spring springs, from there ascend with the stream, and turn left on a steep path which reaches the tomb of Akabia ben Mahalal and Admon. From there you turn south, when about 1 km you see higher with many crevices around it, this is the place of the tomb of Rabbi Sama.
