Shimon Ben Mansiya

Rabbi  Shim’on ben Menasya (Hebrew: שמעון בן מנסיא) was a Jewish rabbi who lived in the late 2nd-early 3rd centuries (fourth and fifth generations of Tannaim)

Lived during the time of Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi. A student of R. Meir, and a friend of R. Yossi ben Meshulam.

Turn east from the Meron junction on Road 89 in the direction of Safed, after about 4 km from Meron there is a dirt road. On the left side of the road, a path turns towards the tomb of R. Shimon.
