Shunammite woman Zhion

In the Bible (Kings 4: 4) the Shunammite woman is described as “great”, meaning that she was wealthy and of high status. She enlisted the help of the prophet Elisha, and thanks to his prayer, the son was resurrected.

The name of the Shunammite woman is unknown. Sages (Yalkut Shimoni Melachim Rachach) had a tradition that she was the sister of Avishag the Shunammite, one of the wives of King David and the mother of the prophet Ido.    The Shunammite woman built a room in her house for the prophet Elisha, and was absent from the son thanks to the blessing of the prophet.
