Abba Hilkia Tomb
XGJQ+W2 Hatzor HaGlilit, IsraelAbba Hilkia was a well-known follower, the grandson of the Circle Parker, who lived at the end of the Second Temple period. In the Talmud he is mentioned as having special care in his leaderships – “Poel Tzedek” such as Abba Hilkia
Like his famous grandfather, who celebrated a circle and prayed for the rains, so Father Abba was known for his power of prayer, and once when there was a year of famine, the sages sent him two disciples to ask him to pray for the rains.
The students found him while working as an employee in the field, so he did not treat them until the end of his work, so they made their way home together while they saw in him some strange leaderships. Father Hilkia, who understood the purpose of the two’s arrival, did not humbly agree to hear what they wanted from him, and as soon as he came home he went up with his wife to the attic where they prayed and was immediately answered – rain clouds appeared from the direction his wife prayed, and rain began to fall.
