Samuel the Prophet Tomb

Samuel the Prophet’s. It is located on the summit of Mount Har, northwest of Jerusalem, about one kilometer from the Ramot neighborhood. The most prominent building in the area is a large Crusader fortress, preserved two stories high.

The site is now used as an Orthodox synagogue, with separate prayer rooms for men and women,

The prophet Samuel is a biblical figure, the son of Hannah and Elkanah from the two scouts. Samuel was a prophet, and leader of the people of Israel at the end of the period of the Judges, between the death of Ali the priest and the reign of King Saul and King David. Samuel had two sons – Joel and her father.
