Jael & Heber the Kenite Tomb

Jael or Yael (Hebrew: יָעֵל‎ Yāʿēl) is a woman mentioned in the Book of Judges in the Hebrew Bible, as the heroine who killed Sisera to deliver Israel from the troops of King Jabin

Yael the wife of the Kenite friend is a biblical figure, mentioned in the Book of Judges chapter four as the one who killed Sisera when he fought Deborah the prophetess and Barak son of Avinoam, and also as a judge in Israel.

Yael was the wife of a member of the Kenite tribe, who were descendants of Hovav ben Reuel, son-in-law of Moshe, and have since been considered a tribe close to the people of Israel. But some believe that it does not mean that she was the wife of a man named Hever, but that she belonged to a tribe named “Heber the Kenite”

After about 1.8 km, to the right of the road, a narrow side road branches off to the north, turn right between the two roads (near the branch) towards a narrow path and you reach large coffins made of stone in one of which the Kenian friend is buried.
