Baram synagogue

Baram is a synagogue from the Talmudic period, the remains of which are some of the most beautiful built during this period and indicate the existence of an established Jewish community in the area. The garden extends to the top of a hill 755 meters above sea level that overlooks the surrounding area.

Kfar Baram, the name of the Jewish community where the synagogue is located, was first mentioned in 1210 by the traveler R. Shmuel son of R. Shimon
And its end, apparently, in the Mamluk period.

Baram National Park is located on the side of the northern road, between Kibbutz Sasa and Kibbutz Baram (Road No. 899), about half a kilometer from the junction of the new northern road
(About 3 km east of Hiram Junction).
