Battle Hills – Mount Hermon
Battle Hills – Mount Hermon is a short circular path (about 1 km) at the top of Mount Hermon, which passes through the Battle Hills.
In the battle hills, a stubborn struggle took place between the Golani Brigade and the paratroopers, and the Syrian commando forces, at the beginning of the Yom Kippur War.
From the path a spectacular view towards the peaks of Mount Hermon, the Golan Heights, the Galilee, and more and more.
It is necessary to coordinate with the army before visiting the place. During the summer vacation, there are free tours on behalf of the Nature Reserves Authority (twice a day, it is necessary to coordinate and book a place for a tour through the Nature Reserves Authority)
