
Mount Hermon is the highest mountain in Israel . Mountain is in the north-eastern border of Israel and constitutes the southern end of the mountain range in front of Lebanon , which separates Lebanon and Syria .
Hermon territory is divided between Lebanon, Syria and Israel. The summit is 2,814 meters above sea level , and is located on the border between Syria and Lebanon, approximately 14 km northeast of the Israeli mountain outpost. The highest peak in Israel is a 2,236-meter-high dome, which is west of an altitude of 2,224 Meters above sea level, and northeast of the top cable car is the ski resort .
