Maayan Harod National Park
Maayan Harod National Park is a great place for a walk. Instead of shady lawns, picnic corners and of course a Harod spring.
Harod Spring is a spring that emerges from a cave and flows in canals to two large and shallow pools (up to 40 cm).
Harod Spring is a spring with fresh water, an unusual thing in the area of the spring. On vacation it is not advisable to approach the place (modesty issues), however in the rest of the year, the place is usually empty, and in any case – it is recommended to come early.
Entrance fee. Opening hours: 8:00 – 16:00 in winter and in summer until 17:00.
How to get there: From the Navot interchange, drive in the direction of Beit She’an and at the next interchange, turn right in the direction of Gideona. Pass through the settlement gate and continue according to the signs to Maayan Harod National Park.
