Daria Resort, one of the few resort villages in Israel situated on a seashore is a pastoral resort located within a unique gem of nature – with the Sea of Galilee on one side and the Golan Heights hills and Jordan Valley on the other. Featuring an adjacent seashore and two unique, breathtaking breakwaters, Daria offers more than 100 large accommodation units designed and outfitted in a rustic style that blends into the pastoral landscape.
Our goal at Daria Resort is to provide guests with an active Israeli vacation experience based on the values of Israeli culture from the beginning of the modern settlement period, which began in the area. Our wish is to combine the authentic experience of overnights on the Sea of Galilee shores and having fun, by helping our guests to enjoy the vast variety of Israel’s natural resources and the region’s untamed landscapes.
The streets of the village have been named after Israeli artists that are the pillar stones of Israeli culture from various periods of time, and their works and stories decorate Yama’s spaces. Israeli songs can be heard in the background throughout the streets of the village and in its public areas, endowing each visit with a unique sense of Israeli culture. In its effort to offer guests a values-based experience, Daria Resort has developed a variety of concept-and-content-based activities, both on its grounds and outside, weaving a thread that connects different interesting sites and placing emphasis on local attractions. There is, for example, a tour focusing on different water sites during the summer, using 4×4 vehicles to climb the Golan Heights. Another offering is a tours along the early trails connecting the settlements of Degania and Kinneret, and one based on stories and songs of the literary lions that were nurtured by the Jordan Valley.
Featured are nostalgic Israel concept experiences that include a bonfire evening and a farm meal – all of this reflecting the region’s pastoral ambience. Guests are offered a variety of activities, with each selection individually tailored in advance for Israeli families, tourists, groups, workers’ committees, etc.
This wide selection of diverse activities is available every day of the week during July, August and Israeli holidays, and activities for groups can be booked in advance at any time. On-site activities are subject to approval by the hotel, and updates on them can be had in advance via the reservations center or the hotel.
Daria Resort – Attractions and content packages
The resort village can organize off-road 4×4 tours, a route that runs through the heights of the Golan, circumnavigates the Sea of Galilee and continues to the Daria Resort waterfront. The guided tour, which lasts about 75 minutes, is based on self-driven Ranger vehicles and is an unforgettable off-the-beaten-track experience. In addition, Daria Resort offers tour packages tailored to meet individual tastes, created by a certified tour guide. It is advisable to book tours in advance, to guarantee availability. Content and bonding packages are available too, for groups, organizations, workers’ committees and tourists. The various packages comprise a broad range of topics and are selected with meticulous care in accordance with the changing seasons and the nature of each group. All tours, attractions and content packages are subject to an additional charge.
